Children's Law Project
The Hampden County Bar Association has received an IOLTA Grant from the Massachusetts Bar Foundation for funding of the HCBA Children's Law Project since 1992. Through this program, children receive legal representation in the Hampden County Family and Probate Court for an array of matters. The program is looking for qualified attorneys to represent these children. Attorneys are paid at a rate of $50.00 per hour with a maximum amount of $1,500.00 paid per case. Program attorneys are required to take one pro bono case per fiscal year. If you would more like information regarding this worthwhile program, please contact the Children's Law Project Director, Noreen E. Nardi at (413) 732-4648 or via email.
