The Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD) is seeking a new Commission Counsel member in our Worcester Office. Commission Counsel represents the public interest in administrative hearings, the Superior Court and in the Massachusetts Appeals Court. Commission Counsel are responsible for all aspects of prosecution of a complaint of discrimination filed at the MCAD, from case evaluation, conciliation, mediation, litigation through appeal. Commission Counsel responsibilities also include defending full commission decisions in court and providing support for the Commissioners and staff in matters of policy, litigation, regulations, preliminary appeal hearings, training, outreach, and public records.
